  • Trip introduction

Your resort is in the middle of a mnago orchard, along the banks of the Kosi river, and very close to Corbett National Park, making it both a scenic and convenient stay. You'll have the best views of the river, the moutains in the distance, and the greenery all around. You'll spend one night in a charming air-conditioned accommodation styled to look like an English countryside cottage. Each cottage is built from river stones, with chimneys, high ceilings and wooden trellises. There is a large comfortable bed, with plump mattresses and soft duvets, as well as a tea/coffee maker. The attached washroom has running hot and cold water and a Western commode. Meals are served in the in-house property, and you'll also have access to the pool table and gym, and a wildlife movie or show in the evening.

IMPORTANT: This package does NOT include your Corbett safari cost.

    Destination

Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India, and one of the best known spots for the Corbett safari, because you'll frequently spot tigers and gorgeous other wildlife. The park stretches over 520 kms, encompassing hills, grasslands, marshes, and a lake, offering a shelter to all kinds of animals, birds, and insects, but most importantly, is home to the majestic endangered Bengal Tiger. The best time to book your Corbett safari is from mid-November to mid-May. The park is divided into the following six zones, to protect the animals and to be more efficient for visitors: Dhela (new zone), Sonananda, Dhikala, Durgadevi, Jhirna and Bijrani.

    Itinerary

    • Day 1: Check in by noon and enjoy the rest of the day at your resort. Pack your bags at night so that you can check out tomorrow before your safari.
    • Day 2: Head out early in the morning for your safari. It should take about 3 hours, and after that, you'll return to the hotel to check out.
