  • Trip introduction

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is an alluring teahouse trek that takes you to the base of the Annapurna Massif, where you get to spend the night. You also pass by the base camp of the mighty Machhapuchhre on this trek. And along the way, you are treated to breath-taking views of Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, and Annapurna Himal.

The trail begins in the lush Himalayan forests of oak, bamboo and rhododendrons, and enters into the barren Himalayan valleys full of glacial moraines and imposing Himalayan mountains all around. The trail also passes quaint villages where you get to experience the distinct culture and exotic traditions of Gurung, Pun and Magar.

The price displayed is the per person price of four people travelling together.

The massif is located within the Annapurna Wildlife Sanctuary, which is considered as one of the most beautiful sanctuaries of the world. It protects not only the flourishing flora and fauna but also the rich cultural heritage and exotic traditions of the villages within it. It is also home to numerous rare animals, including the elusive snow leopard.

Due to its proximity to Kathmandu and a moderately easy trail which is more or less flat, the trek to the Annapurna Base Camp has become one of the most popular treks in the world.
