Rules on the trip
Travellers are required to follow instructions of the trek leader during the Chadar trek.
Consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited during the trek. Consumption of tobacco products and cigarettes is not recommended.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.
If you are not cleared in the medical test in Leh, you will not be allowed to join the trek. There are NO refunds in this case, and the operator will not be liable to make alternate arrangements for your time in Leh.
For cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the Chadar trek: Full refund.
For cancellations made 45-60 days prior to the Chadar trek: 75% refund.
For cancellations made 30-45 days prior to the Chadar trek: 50% refund.
For cancellations made 20-30 days prior to the Chadar trek: 25% refund.
For cancellations made less than 20 days prior to the Chadar trek: No refund.
In case of no show: No refund.
All refunds will be processed after deducting a cancellation fee of INR 5,000 per person and a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. The cancellation fee is charged by the tour operator and the transaction fee is charged by The Great Next.
Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions
The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap, accident or loss of life during the Chadar trek.
The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of the trek to ensure maximum safety for travellers as well as staff.
If you cannot join the trek after the medical test, the operator is not responsible for any activities, injury, illness, or additional expenses.
