Rules on the trip
Consumption of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products like cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trek to Valley of Flowers.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.
Travellers are required to follow all instructions of the trek leader during the Valley of Flowers trek.
For cancellations made more than 15 days before departure date of the Valley of Flowers trek: 40% refund.
For cancellations made 15 days or less before departure date of the Valley of Flowers trek: no refund.
In case of no show: no refund.
All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.
Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions
All meals provided during the Valley of Flowers trek include vegetarian dishes only. However, egg preparations can be served, only if prior notice is given at the time of booking.
Accommodation in guesthouses and hotels is arranged on a twin-sharing basis. However, if case the final group size is an odd number, at least one room will be on a triple-sharing basis.
Overnight stay at Auli may be given in Joshimath or Govindghat, if rooms are unavailable. These three towns are located near each other and are interchangeable.
The tour operator reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary of the Valley of Flowers trek to ensure the safety of travellers and staff. Additional costs due to such a change in itinerary will be borne by the traveller.
The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure the safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident during the Valley of Flowers trek.
