    Cycle your way through Nepal’s pristine landscapes that lined with gorgeous mountains views through the Sarankot Mountain biking trip.

    Conducted in half a day – you’ll make your way through rice paddies, small villages and tropical forests till you reach the top. Considered as the only rock in the world where you can catch a 360-degree view of the three eight-thousander’s at the same time, you’ll get to witness clear views of the Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna Ranges, the Manaslu and Mount Fishtail all together! Besides this, you’ll also catch sight of the Fewa Lake, the Seti River and the World Peace Pagoda.

    On your way back down you’ll have the option of cycling through multiple trails that are often frequented by herds of buffalos and local villagers giving you an insight to the local and rustic way of life.


    Situated at an altitude of 5249 feet, the Sarankot Rock is a hill that lies just outside Pokhara in the mountainous regions of Nepal. For this cycling trip, you’ll be cycling through a variety of different landscapes as you explore the countryside. You’ll encounter multiple small villages, vast terraced plantations, rivers, valleys and lakes. You’ll also cycle through many dirt roads and rocky mountain paths.

    As Nepal is greatly influenced by the Tibetan culture, en route your journey you may even spot many smaller stupas and Buddhist temples. But the beauty of this journey does not only lie in catching spectacular views, but rather in imbibing the culture. Throughout your trip, you’ll have smaller stops where you can meet and interact with the locals and admire their simplicity and warmth.

  • Cycling up to the Sarankot Rock

    Arrive at the bike centre in the morning and undergo a thorough briefing about your upcoming trip. After this you'll head out to the valleys of Pokhara to embark on this glorious adventure.

    Although you'll start with a challenging uphill climb, you'll still witness some gorgeous landscapes along the way. But once you reach the top of the Sarankot Rock, you'll be rewarded with spectacular panoramic mountain views. Considered as one of the only view points in the world where you can catch a 360 degree view of 3 eight-thousander's mountains at the same time. Thus, you'll catch sight of the Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna Ranges, the Manaslu and Mount Fishtail. Besides this, you'll also witness the Seti River, the Fewa Lake and the World Peace Pagoda.

    On your way down you'll have a choice of cycling down multiple trails, some consisting of locals, some consisting of buffalos walking through sub tropical forests. You'll also pass through rolling rice paddies and rustic Nepalese Villages, where you can stop and interact with locals.

    At the end of your trip you'll return back to the bike centre in Pokhara from where you'll depart. Your trip ends here.

    No harm or damage should be inflicted on natural habitats during the Sarankot mountain biking trip.

    Participants must adhere to the instructions of the guide at all times during the Sarankot mountain biking trip.
