    Banana Beach Day Trip

Your adventure begins with a speedboat ride across the Andaman Sea as you're taken from Phuket to the Koh Hey island. Here, you can explore the clear, blue water of the sea by snorkelling near the beach or paddling your clear kayaks over the water. You'll take a break only to enjoy a delicious lunch at a beachside restaurant. After a fun afternoon spent in the cool water, you can put your feet up and enjoy relaxing beach vibes with views of the Andaman Sea on the horizon.

    Located on the Koh Hey island, a short boat ride away from Phuket, the Banana Beach is all about nature. The Koh Hey island itself is entirely covered with thick, green forests with only a few areas on the coast, such as the Banana Beach, accessible to travellers. These forests are home to large, colourful hornbills and hermit crabs. At the beach, the tides of the Andaman Sea, with clean and clear water, reflects several shades of blue from turquoise to teal. Here, you can relax in beach chairs under palm trees and dig your feet in to play with the white sand that covers most of Banana Beach.

    Banana Beach Day Trip Photos

    You'll be picked-up from your hotel in a private vehicle at 08:30 hrs and driven to the Chalong Pier, where you'll board a speedboat to Coral Island. At a snorkelling spot near the island, you'll spend 40-45 mins enjoying the sea - go snorkelling and swimming or simply relax on the speedboat.

    After a fun session at the snorkelling spot, the boat will take you to Banana Beach, where you'll continue thrilling water activites at the beach like snorkelling or kayaking. You can also enjoy relaxing beach views from chairs on the shore. Soon, you'll depart from Banana Beach and take the speedboat back to Chalong Pier. You'll be dropped back to your hotel by 18:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made more than 24 hours before pick-up time of the Banana Beach day trip: 100% refund.

    For cancellations made between 24-6 hours before pick-up time of the Banana Beach day trip: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 6 hours before pick-up time of the Banana Beach day trip: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting any international payment transfer fees. Please check with us what these charges will be for this trip.  

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the tour leader during the Banana Beach day trip.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    You'll be picked up at 8:30 hrs and dropped back by 18:00 hrs. Timings are approximate and may be subject to change or delays.

    The pick-up and drop-off is arranged from your hotel or place of accommodation in Phuket. Accordingly, you're required to inform the exact address to the tour operator at the time of booking.

    Pick-up and drop-off is included only if your hotel or place of accommodation is located in the areas of Kata, Karon, Rawai, Patong, Kalim, Panwa, Chalong, Town and Siray. Pick-up and drop-off from other areas can be arranged at an additional cost of THB 500 per person.

    All prices displayed are subject to fluctuations based on international currency exchange rates at the time of booking.

    Snorkelling and other water activities are dependant on weather and sea conditions. The tour operator will not be held responsible for any last minute changes or cancellations in the itinerary due to unsuitable weather and sea conditions.
