Situated in the north-northeast of Krabi, the Tiger Cave Temple also known as the Wat Tham Suea is a Buddhist Temple that is deemed as sacred site known for its tiger paw prints in the cave. As legend goes, it was named so, when the Vipassana monk, Jumnean Seelasettho witnessed tigers roaming around the cave during one of his meditating sessions.
Surrounded by tropical rainforests, including many old trees from the Kiriwong Valley, the hike to this temple is a scenic one. However, in order to the reach summit, you’ll have to climb through a series of lengthy stairways.
Besides this, known for its religious significance and housing a bunch of ancient artifacts, this temple has become a popular destination for tourists who are interested in exploring this history of Thailand.

Be ready for a pick-up from your hotel in Ao Nang by 09:45 hrs from where you'll travel to the beautiful Tiger Cave Temple. From the drop-off point there'll be a short trail through some beautiful forests till you reach the temple. After spending some time admiring its Buddhist architecture, you'll then feast on a delicious Thai lunch at the Restaurante Kula Kasai. After lunch, you'll then proceed to the hot springs of Wareerak. Here you can either dip your feet into its soothing waters or enjoy a spa session (at your own expense). Surrounded by a lush tropical landscapes, you can enjoy walks around or visit the gorgeous Botanical Garden. At the end of this adventure, you'll be dropped back to your hotel in Ao Nang by 18:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.
