  • Getting There

    You can reach Andaman via flight or cruise. Flying is the most convenient way to get there. There is an airport in Port Blair called the Veer Savarkar Airport that is connected to most major Indian cities like Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Do note that these flights have higher rates. If you have a few days on your hand, then you can take a cruise either from Chennai, Vizag or Kolkata. These cruises take around 3 days/60 hours to get to Andaman but the experience is totally worth it.

    If your hotel is on another island, then you can go there from Port Blair via a ferry or catamaran. There are regular ferries connecting most of the islands of Andaman. Remember to book your seats a day prior if you are going during the peak season to avoid delays. Another way to reach other islands is by helicopter or seaplane, but these options are very expensive and erratic.
