Dadar is one of the busiest hubs in Mumbai and can be reached by local train and bus. Pritam Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Dadar railway station.
Maharashtra’s dense, dark forest Andharban trek takes you on a mystical trail through the Sahyadris. This trek is a full descent trek, so won't have you puffing and panting, but it's still a challenge. You'll walk through a forest that is so thick that it's always dim here, hence the name 'Andharban' or 'dark forest'. Cross water streams, clamber over mossy stones, and navigate slippery trails with waterfalls gushing down on all sides. You be descending all the way, to emerge near Bhira dam, with splendid views of the Kundalika river.
The Andharban trek is a monsoon must-do in Maharashtra! The unique light conditions in the forest allow a rich biodiversity, so you can expect to see wildflowers, rare butterflies, and plenty of birds here. You'll also come across many natural pools and ponds to take a quick dip in.

Report at 22:00 hrs to catch the overnight bus to the start point. You'll be spending most of the night on the bus.
You will board private vehicles and will be driven from Dadar to Pimpri. Most of the night will be spent on the bus. It's recommended that you carry a light shawl or bedsheet to stay warm on the bus, as well as some snacks and water for the journey. No meals are provided today.

If you cancel the Andharban trek 8 days or more before the departure date: 50% of the trek price will be forfeited.
