    Explore the deep, dark, wilderness of the Western Ghats on this trek to Andharban. You'll be picked up from Dadar, Mumbai and drive to the Pimpri Dam. At the break of dawn, you'll begin trekking through dense forests and arrive at the Bhira Dam by evening. En route, you'll stop to rest near river streams and waterfalls that flow through Andharban. Don't forget your trekking shoes, since the trail takes you down a descending route with plenty of slippery rocks and boulders.

    The trek to Andharban will take you on a relatively easy route, making it perfect for fit beginners as well as experienced trekkers.

    NOTE: Lunch is not included in this package. Travellers are requested to carry their own packed lunch.

    Destination

    Located near the Tamhini Ghat in the Sahyadri mountains, the forests of Andharban make for one of the best trekking destinations, especially in the months of monsoon. As the rain water cascades down from higher mountains, the Andharban forests begin flourishing with a unique eco-system of plants, birds and animals. Literally meaning 'the dark forest', Andharban's thick jungles are known to cloud out the sun even during the day!

  • Day 1 of the trek to Andharban: Depart from Mumbai

    Arrive at the Pritam Da Dhaba in Dadar (East) by 22:30 hrs. You'll board private, shared vehicles and begin a 5-6 hr drive to the start point of this trek.

    For cancellations made 4-6 days before departure of the Andharban trek: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made 2-3 days before departure of the Andharban trek: 30% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 2 days before departure of the Andharban trek: No refund.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trip.
