You will need to take the last local departing to Kasara from Mumbai CST close to midnight. This train will drop you off at Kasara by around 03:00 hrs.
The trek to Anjaneri is a unique trek that doesn’t just take you into the forested depths of Nashik, but into the age old realms of Indian mythology! Known as the birth place of Lord Hanuman, this beautiful mountainside takes you through rain-drenched landscapes, massive rock formations and lush valleys, and gives you spectacular views of the Navara and Navari pinnacles, the Anjani Mata temple.
Located at an altitude of 4264 feet, the Anjaneri fort is situated in the mountain range that lies between Nashik and Trimbakeshwar, and is about 20 kms away from Nashik. Your journey begins with a midnight train ride to Kasara, from where you'll proceed to the base village of Anjani via local jeeps. It is from here, through luscious monsoon forests, in the cool early hours of the morning that you will trek to the top of the Anjaneri Fort.

Begin your day by catching the last local to Kasara, making sure you'll reach Kasara by 03:00 hrs in the morning. At Kasara, you'll meet your fellow trekkers and board local jeeps to take you to Anjani village from where your trek begins.

Today you'll be spending most of the night travelling, first by train and then by local transport. You should carry some snacks like energy bars and dry fruit, as well as a bottle of water. There are no meals included in your package today.

Smoking cigarettes, chewing tobacco or consuming alcohol is strictly prohibited on the Anjaneri trek.
You must stick with your group at all times.
No damage should be inflicted on monuments or natural environment.

Taking photos or selfie near the edges of cliffs is not allowed.
Participants are requested to carry trash back to the city and dispose it in dustbins.
