The Trail passes through woods of rhododendron, bamboo, oak and pine, with barren and snow-layered landscapes dominating the view as you climb higher altitudes. The villages along the route are settled by the ethnic Gurung and Pun natives, providing an insight into the local lifestyle and culture.

Travellers are required to carry their passport and 3 passport-sized photos that are required to obtain the necessary permits.
Travellers are required to follow all instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Annapurna Base Camp.
Travellers are required to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing any general disturbances.
Consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited during the trek to Annapurna Base Camp.
For cancellations made more than 50 days before departure of the Annapurna Base Camp trek: 100% refund
For cancellations made between 25-50 days before departure of the Annapurna Base Camp trek: 100% refund after deducting a cancellation fee of INR 9,000 per person.
For cancellations made less than 25 days before departure of the Annapurna Base Camp trek: No refund.
No refund will be provided in case the traveller does not show up for the trek.
All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

Due to the high altitude and difficulty, Annapurna Base Camp trek is recommended only to travellers who have prior experience of at least one high-altitude trek in the Himalayas.
A high level of health and fitness is required to book this trek to Annapurna Base Camp. If you have any cardiac or respiratory conditions or suffer from knee or spinal problems, please inform the tour operator and consult your doctor before booking this trip.
Travellers those who have not been properly acclimatized to the high altitude may experience acute mountain sickness.
The tour operator reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary of this trip due to bad weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances to ensure maximum safety of travellers and staff. Travellers are required to bear any additional costs arising due to such a change in itinerary.
