This is a paragraph with little content.

This is another small paragraph.

  • Trip introduction

This adventure takes you into misty Himalayan heights to an emerald-green lake that is fed by melting glaciers. It is said that the Rishi Beas visited the lake to meditate, and you'll certainly feel the peace of the place when you get there. The trek to Beaskund changes as you climb, starting in idyllic meadows filled with flowers and shrubs to rocky outcrops and craggy peaks. You'll camp in stunning locales, sleeping under the stars and listening to the wind as it whistles past.

If you’re a first time trekker, the Beaskund trek is perfect for you. It has mostly easy walking, with a few steep sections. If you’re a seasoned trekker, this trek is a great short adventure that starts close to Manali.

    Destination

Your trek begins in the midst of the fruit orchards and green valleys of Solang, one of the most beautiful regions of Himachal Pradesh. You'll begin your trek from a charming small village called Dhundi, from where the mountains slope upwards all around you. The Beaskund trail winds upwards on an easy incline, letting you hike slowly into the upper reaches, where peace prevails. You'll be camping in the wide open, high altitude meadow of Bhakarthach, where flowers carpet the floor and wild strawberries grow. From the campsite, you'll get views of iconic peaks like Hanuman Tibba ans Shitidhar, and you'll hear the rumblings of moving glaciers in the night.

    Destination highlights

    • Visit the serene green lake of Beaskund, from where the Beas river begins
    • Do an easy trek to a height of over 11,000 feet
