This adventure takes you into misty Himalayan heights to an emerald-green lake that is fed by melting glaciers. It is said that the Rishi Beas visited the lake to meditate, and you'll certainly feel the peace of the place when you get there. The trek to Beaskund changes as you climb, starting in idyllic meadows filled with flowers and shrubs to rocky outcrops and craggy peaks. You'll camp in stunning locales, sleeping under the stars and listening to the wind as it whistles past.
If you’re a first time trekker, the Beaskund trek is perfect for you. It has mostly easy walking, with a few steep sections. If you’re a seasoned trekker, this trek is a great short adventure that starts close to Manali.
Your trek begins in the midst of the fruit orchards and green valleys of Solang, one of the most beautiful regions of Himachal Pradesh.
