This trek offers the complete Sahyadris experience, especially in the monsoon. You'll see secret waterfalls, rain-drenched forests, ancient temples, deserted ruins, exotic flowers, and lots more.
The trek to Bhimashankar is a fairly tough one, so make sure you're up for the challenge. It starts out with an easy walk, but graduates to steep slopes that can be slippery when mossy. In some sections, the trail is washed away, and you'll have to negotiate several tricky patches. At night, you'll sleep in dorms with your team, and you'll spend the rest of your time in the great outdoors.
