You will traverse mixed forest of oak and pine and find commanding views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks and Hampta valley at every turn. Nature buffs will love the campsite set on the pristine banks of Bhrigu lake, with its calm environs and scenic vistas. The trek also offers a chance to visit the famous hot water springs in the Vashisht village.
Located at an elevation of 14000 feet near the beautiful town of Manali, hidden beyond pine and oak forests, lies the partially frozen lake of Bhrigu. The lake is named after Maharishi Bhrigu, who is said to have meditated here.
You'll trek up a mountain trail that is covered in snow in the winter, and is green and scenic during the summer. From the top, you'll have views of the majestic peaks of Hanuman and Deo Tibba, along with the Pir Panjal and Seven Sister peaks, but also the lush Manali Valley below.

Begin your journey from Manali, from where you will be driven to Chaudda Morh, the 14th turn on the Rohtang Manali Highway. From here your trek to Rohli Kholi will begin. Famous for its skiing slopes in winter, this trail might have large accumulated chunks of snow, even in summer. You'll start in the shade of pine trees, and trek upwards to open grazing meadows with fabulous views of the Pir Panjal and Hanuman Tibba peaks in the background. Once in Rohli Kholi, set up your tent for the night.
