This adventure-packed trip to Bir Billing combines a short trek from Bir to Billing with an exciting session of paragliding at Billing. The trek from Bir to Billing takes you uphill through pleasant meadows and pine woods with scenic views of the Kangra hills in sight.
Your paragliding adventure will strap you in for an exciting flight from Billing to Bir with birds-eye views of the entire valley below you and the Dhauladhar mountains on the horizon. At night, you'll stay in cozy alpine tents pitched to give you the perfect view of the star-studded night sky. Before the trip comes to an end, you'll also take a tour of the monasteries at Bir and explore the local markets, cafes and attractions.
Bir is a small town at the foothills of the mighty Dhauladhar range of mountains in Himachal Pradesh. Home to a large population of Tibetan refugees, the town has developed a unique culture of spiritual study and meditation centred around Buddhism. A short distance from Bir is the town of Billing, located atop the foothills with scenic forests all around. The combined area of Bir Billing is popular among paragliders due to favourable wind conditions and breathtaking views of the upper Dhauladhar mountains. With international competitions bringing in travellers from all around the world, Bir Billing is often called the paragliding capital of India.

Arrive at the pick-up point in Delhi by 18:30 hrs and board a private bus. The 11-hr overnight journey will take you from Delhi to Bir through open farmlands and dense woods. Overnight in transit.

For cancellations made more than 30 days before the departure date of the Bir Billing adventure: 50% refund.
For cancellations made between 15-30 days before the departure date of the Bir Billing adventure: 25% refund.
For cancellations made less than 15 days before the departure date of the Bir Billing adventure: no refund.
In case of no show: no refund.
For cancellations of the paragliding activity due to unforeseen circumstances the operator will try to provide a feasable alternative, however no refund will be provided.
All refunds are processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.
Travellers who wish to go paragliding at Bir Billing are required to weigh between 45-95 kgs.
Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.
Travellers are required to follow instructions of the tour guide during the Bir Billing adventure.
Consumption of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products like cigarettes is prohibited during the trip.
