    Retreat into nature and escape the bustling sounds of the city-life on this camping trip in Kodaikanal. On this trip, you’ll get to spend a couple of days in a scenic campsite overlooking the valley of the Palani Hills blanketed by lush greenery. You can even go on short hikes through the surrounding region and bathe in charming ponds formed by streams running down from the hills. If the weather permits, you can even spend some time around a bonfire with fellow travellers. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot an elephant or a deer going about their business around the campsite. 


    Located at an altitude of 5000 feet, Kodaikanal is a largely unspoilt hill station located in the Palani Hills of the Western Ghats in Tamil Nadu. On this trip, you’ll be staying at the campsite which is located in the heart of a 20-acre organic farm and overlooks the Palani Hills and its valley. There are organic plantations of fruit trees like avocado, orange, passion fruit, mango, etc. around the campsite. And there are several sparkling streams and ponds formed by the said stream. This makes this camping trip a perfect choice for nature lovers and those who want to explore the Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu.

  • Day 1 of the Camping Trip in Kodaikanal: Check-in and Enjoy!

    Check-in at the campsite by 12:00 hrs, after which your tent will be allotted to you. Post lunch, you can spend rest of the day relaxing at the campsite or you can head out for short hikes around the campsite to explore the surrounding region. You can even go swim in the ponds located in close proximity to the campsite. If the weather permits, there will also be a bonfire in the evening. Overnight in alpine tents.

    Today, you'll check in at the campsite by 12:00 hrs where your tents will be allotted to you. Upon checking-in, lunch will be served at the campsite in the afternoon. Dinner will be served in the late evening.

    For cancellations made more than 4 days prior to the camping trip in Kodaikanal: 100% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 4 days prior to the camping trip in Kodaikanal: 50% refund.

    In case of no show: No refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.
