Trade in your work clothes, your cellphones, and the smoggy city for a weekend out with the birds and the trees. Karnala Bird Sanctuary is a hotspot for nature lovers and bird watchers, but you'll be staying there at night, after everyone has left, and when the birds and wild animals come out to play. During the daytime hours, you can explore the sanctuary, visit Karnala fort, or check out the bird-watching machaan. At night, you'll camp in weather-proof tents with foam mats to ensure you get a good night's sleep, with comfort facilities like dry toilet tents with Western commodes.

IMPORTANT: The campsite is inside the bird sanctuary, so you'll have to leave your cars in the parking lot and hike up. It's a beautiful hike, but can take some time.
