CST Station is one of the busiest hubs in Mumbai and can be reached by road and rail.
Participants from outside Mumbai can meet at Panvel station.
Get away from the city and return to nature at this riverside campsite between Mumbai and Pune. You'll camp in tents beside the Kundalika river, and slow down the pace with some peaceful farming and fishing activities. In the evening, you'll gather around a bonfire and toast marshmallows and make Maggi and soup.
Next morning, you can choose to head out to try whitewater rafting, kayaking, river crossing, or Flying Fox (all activities are chargeable and can be paid on the spot), or go for a two-hour trek nearby.
NOTE: There are twin and multi sharing tents at the same cost, but twin-sharing tents will only be allocated to early bookings.
IMPORTANT: Children under 16 years are only allowed in groups over 10 pax.
Muthavli is a small village that lies on the banks of the Kundalika river, close to Kolad. In recent years, the fishing village of Kolad has become an adventure hub for adventure-seekers from Mumbai and Pune. Muthavli is smaller and not so well-known, so it retains its untouched beauty.
This camping trip in Muthavli offers you a chance to try setting up tents and cooking your own meals (only if you want to; if not, there is a crew to do this), and to try farming, fishing, and water sports.

Reach CST Station by 11:00 hrs and board a local train to Panvel. You'll climb aboard a jeep that will drive you to Muthavli village. You'll reach Muthavli in time for lunch at 14:30 hrs and dig into a delicious homecooked meal. After this, you'll hike down to your campsite which is a short distance from the main village and here you'll set up tents near the Kundalika River. You'll head out to try your hand at some fun-filled farming activities and in the evening you can swim or try fishing in the river. Return to the campsite in the evening and gather around a crackling bonfire to toast fluffy marshmallows and eat BBQ snacks. You'll eat a fun meal of Maggi and soup for dinner and after this, you can retire to cosy alpine tents.
Overnight in tents.
You'll travel by train and then jeep to get to Muthavli village where a home-style thali lunch awaits you. After that you'll hike to the campsite and spend the rest of the day there. In the evening, you'll toast marshmallows and eat crispy BBQ snacks, followed by a meal of Maggi and soup. You'll sleep in cosy alpine tents with camping mats. Do carry blankets, a light shawl or bedsheet to keep you warm.

This Muthavli riverside camping trip cannot be cancelled once booked, however, you can transfer the booking to friends or family members.

Farming, trekking and water activities will be guided by the operator's team and these activities will differ from season to season.
Smoking is only permitted at the designated smoking area during the riverside camping in Muthavli.
You must adhere to the instructions of the camp leader at all times during activities on the Muthavli camping trip.
Littering or defacing at the campsite or near the river is strictly prohibited.
