    Day 1: Check-in and enjoy

    Check-in at the campsite by 10:30 hrs where your tent will be allotted to you. You can then spend the rest of the day either relaxing at the campsite and playing some games, or you can head out on short hikes to explore Manali. In the evening, you can go visit the little cafes and bakeries of Manali. Then, in the late evening, you’ll enjoy a fun bonfire plus BBQ session with your friends and family followed by a hot dinner. You’ll then retire to your swiss tents for the night

    Day 2: Enjoy a thrilling rafting session

    Today, you’ll wake up to the gorgeous views of Manali, have breakfast and head to Pirdi, the rafting start point. You’ll meet your instructor there who will brief you about the activity and safety guidelines. You’ll then gear up and begin your thrilling rafting session. Once your rafting session ends, you’ll head back to the campsite, collect your bags and check out. Your Manali camping and rafting trip ends here.

    Inclusions:

    The camping and rafting in Manali includes accommodation in swiss tents on twin/triple sharing basis with attached washroom, along with a meal package that consists of lunch and dinner on Day 1, and breakfast on Day 2.

    The cost also includes one rafting on Beas River session of 14 km along with travel arrangements from the campsite to the start point and back, all rafting equipment and gear, and services of an experienced rafting instructor. Lastly, the package includes all applicable taxes.

    Exclusions:

    The package cost does not include any kind of travel arrangements from your home city to the campsite and back. The package price does not include any personal costs like extra meals, beverages, etc. or any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like bad weather, roadblocks, etc. Anything that is not mentioned in the inclusions is charged at an additional basis, as used.

    You can go camping in Manali throughout the year but the best time to go depends on what you want to experience while camping. The summer season starts in October and ends by June and is the perfect time to go if you want to explore the bustling forests around Manali and want to escape the city heat. This is also a good time to go rafting on the Beas River.

    And if you want to see snow and experience the Himalayan winters then you should go from December to February when Manali gets graced by snowfall, blanketing the snow in glittering white.     Manali is one of the best adventure destinations in India, attracting travellers from around the world every year. Due to this popularity, this little town in the Himalayas has grown to have convenient connectivity. There are two ways to reach Manali, one by road and the other by flight.

    If you are coming by flight, then you have to book your flight tickets to Bhuntar Airport located 50 km from Manali. The airport is connected to most major cities of India like Mumbai, Bangalore, etc. with regular flights, and to Delhi and Chandigarh with daily flights. From Bhuntar, you can take a bus, shared or private taxi to reach Manali.

    Manali is also well connected to the major North Indian cities by road. There are many state and privately run bus services connected the cities to Manali, along with private and shared taxis. And you can even drive your own car since the drive to Manali is scenic and fun.

    What To Wear

    For camping in Manali, you only need to wear basic clothes like a t-shirt and pants. Do carry a hoodie or a jacket for the night. And if you are going camping in Manali in the winter season, then you also need to carry inner thermals and down/fleece jackets.

    While going for rafting in Manali, you need to wear basic clothes that are non-restrictive along with sandals.
