    If you're an adventurer who loves good food, this camping adventure is perfect for you! You'll get the best of delicious meals, a long drive away from the city, local delicacies, camping under the stars, and horse riding.

    This trip begins with lunch at Bhooka Beirdo in Bandra, where you'll choose from an open menu. After stuffing yourself with good food, you climb aboard a van that will drive you to a campsite in Dahanu. There's a stable here, with over 300 horses to make friends with. In the evening, you'll be taken to a Parsi dhaba to enjoy a curated menu of Parsi food. By 20:30, you'll be back at the campsite to enjoy a fun session of barbequing marshmallows, sausages and salami over a campfire. You can stay up all night, or go to sleep in tents. The next morning, after a cup of hybrid tea and biscuits, you head to the horse farm to try horse riding. You'll end with nira, a local nectar made from coconut or palm, and then head over to Agashi village, where you'll try out the unique bhujing, a version of poha made with roasted chicken! After that, with full stomachs, you begin the ride home. You'll be dropped off in Mumbai by evening.

    Found on the outskirts of Mumbai, Charoti is a scenic little village in Palghar, Dahanu. It is approximately a 2-and-a-half-hour drive from Mumbai, via the Western Express Highway. Popular as a quick getaway for city dwellers, this little village radiates a pleasant and peaceful vibe. It is one of the best places to relax.

    Your campsite is equipped with 2-, 4-, or 6-man alpine tents, as welll as Western toilets for your use. You'll be provided with sleeping mats, but will have to carry your own blankets, pillows, cutlery, and water bottles.

  • Day 1 of the Charoti Village camp: Mumbai to Charoti village

    Meet at the Bhooka Beirdo in Bandra by 13:00 hrs, where you can pick any 1 dish from the open menu. After lunch, hop into a van and leave for the camp. You'll reach before dark, and will be able to explore the horse farm and meet the horses. By 19:00 hrs, you'll leave and head to an authentic Parsi restaurant on the highway, where a curated menu of delicious food is waiting. You'll return to camp after that, where there's plenty of fun. You'll gather around a campfire to toast marshmallows, sausages and salami. You can stay up the whole night, or retire to tents for the night.

    Overnight in tents.

    You'll meet at Bandra for lunch at Bhooka Beirdo, and then board a 16-seater van to Charoti village. For dinner, you'll be taken to a Parsi restaurant for a curated menu. You'll spend the rest of the evening toasting marshmallows, salami and sausages on a campfire. Spend your night in the double/triple/quadruple sharing tents, depending on your group size. The tent is equipped with sleeping mats, but you'll have to bring your own bedding. A toilet is available at camp.

    There is a strict no-refund policy for any confirmed bookings of this Charoti Village camp. However, you can transfer your booking to another person for the same weekend.

    Rules on trip

    You will have to wear full length pants or jeans, with sports shoes/sneakers for horse riding.

    Please adhere to the camp guide's instructions at all times during this camping trip near Mumbai.

    Littering is not allowed at the Dahanu camp.

    Please abide by the instructions of the horse trainers. If anyone is seen teasing or injuring the horses, they will be asked to leave.

    Consumption of alcohol is not allowed during the Charoti Village camp.

    You have to report to Bhooka Beirdo restaurant in Bandra is 13:00 hrs, or you'll miss the lunch.

    The minimum age for this trip is 16 years. However, for large groups, kids below the age of 12 will get a 30% discount.

    Vegetarian food options will be provided during the Charoti Village camp, although this trip will be most enjoyed non-vegetarians.

    There will be no refunds or discounts for any unused facilities/inclusions.
