    Pawna Lakeside Camping

    Go camping on the banks of the Pawna Lake and enjoy a night of lakeside camping with your friends or family. Spend some time by the Pawna Lake, dip your feet in the cool water and relax with beautiful lakeside views of the Tung Fort. After a crimson sunset over the mountains, you'll gather around a bonfire under the dark, night sky and enjoy delicious BBQ snacks. Soon after a hot dinner, you'll retire into your alpine tents and sleep with the sounds of the nature outside.

    The Pawna Lake, located just a short drive away from Lonavala, is a vast expanse of water that fills the deep cracks in the Sahyadri mountains. The popular Tung Fort, recognizable with its triangular peak, stands tall besides the lake. Camping by the Pawna Lake is a popular weekend getaway for travellers from Mumbai or Pune, and for a good reason too. Breathe in the pleasant weather with a cool breeze, huddle around the flickering bonfire and enjoy stories and conversations with your fellow campers.

    Arrive and check-in at the campsite by 16:00 hrs. Leave your bags in your tents and spend the afternoon at leisure. After some evening snacks, you can play outdoor games like cricket, badminton, volleyball, football and more. Spend some time on the banks of the lake, dip your feet in the water and relax with beautiful lakeside views. After a crimson sunset over the mountains, you'll gather around a bonfire under the dark, night sky and enjoy delicious BBQ snacks.     Check-in to the campsite by 16:00 hrs. Today's meal package includes evening snacks and dinner. Evening snacks usually include pakodas with tea. Delicious BBQ snacks will also be available. You'll be accommodated in alpine tents with a blanket and pillow. Depending on your group size, tents will be allotted on twin, triple or quad-sharing basis.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made 14 days or more before check-in date of Pawna camping trip: 100% refund.

    For cancellations made 7-14 days before check-in date of Pawna camping trip: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in date of Pawna camping trip: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the camp leader during the Pawna camping trip.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    Check-in time at the campsite is 16:00 hrs and check-out time at the campsite is 11:00 hrs.

    Bookings for children younger than 3 years are not charged. Bookings for children between the ages of 3-12 years are charged at a discounted price of INR 700 per person. Bookings for children older than 12 years are charged at full price.

    The tour operator reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary of the Pawna camping trip to maximize the safety of travellers and staff. Any costs arising due to such a change in the itinerary are borne by the traveller.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident during the Pawna camping trip.
