    If you want to explore scenic valleys of Kullu, the Chanderkhani Pass is a must-do! You will negotiate a moderately difficult terrain on all four days on this trek, surrounded by breathtaking views of gorgeous Himalayan peaks such as the Dhauladhar range, Bara Bangal range, and the Idrasan peak. You will trek alongside ancient shrines, quaint villages with wooden houses and rocky outcrops. You will cross over bubbling mountain streams and the snow-capped peaks will always follow you. It is a steep incline to the Chanderkhani pass at an altitude of 12,000 feet, but the views of the mighty Himalayas are rewarding and you will be greeted by big fluffy clouds on the top. You will also have the chance to explore the secluded village of Malana. The Malana-Chanderkhani Pass trek is ideal for trekkers looking to ascend to higher altitudes on a short trek.

    Located in the Pir Panjal range of the Kullu Valley, the Chanderkhani Pass is a mystical adventure in the lap of the Himalayas. Trek through walnut, cherry and oak trees in Naggar from where you will gradually climb to rhododendron and birch forests in Naya Tapru. The rolling meadows, open green terraced pastures, gurgling streams and meandering trails make this a picturesque trek. You will pass ancient shrines and olden villages, experiencing their culture and lifestyle. The Chanderkhani Pass offers spectacular views of the the Pir Panjal range and the peaks are covered with a stroke of mystical clouds.

    The pass leads you to the mysterious Malana village that has fascinated travelers for years because of its myths and faith. The villagers have been completely isolated from the outside world and have recently opened their doors to outsiders.   • Day 1 of Malana-Chanderkhani Pass Trek: Pulag to Chaklani

    Report at base camp in Haripur by 07:00 hours. After an early breakfast, you’ll be driven to Pulag, where the trek begins. It's an hour-long drive, and you'll drive through the greenery around. The trek route winds through dense forests of deodar, pine and chestnuts. As you gradually ascend to a higher altitude, spectacular views of the Dhauladhar range and Bara Bangal range welcome you. The trail then opens into the verdant rolling meadows with shepherd encampments in Chaklani. Overnight in tents.

    If a cancellation is made 0-15 days before departure of the Malana-Chanderkhani Pass Trek: No refund.

    If a cancellation is made 15-29 days before departure of the Malana-Chanderkhani Pass Trek: 50% of the trip cost will be refunded.

    If a cancellation is made 30 days or more before departure of the Malana-Chanderkhani Pass Trek: 90% of the trip cost will be refunded.

    For last minute cancellations, the operator may offer you trip credits on a case by case basis.

    Rules on trip

    Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Malana-Chanderkhani Pass Trek.

    Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs is not permitted while on the Malana-Chanderkhani Pass Trek.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The Malana-Chanderkhani Pass Trek can be cancelled due to unforeseen or unusual circumstances that is not in the control of the operator. In such a case, refund will be made according to the cancellation policy.

    Any event cost for the Malana-Chanderkhani Pass Trek is exclusive of any kind of insurances or medical coverage/benefits.

    If the journey is broken off early by the client, the operator shall not be liable for a refund of the days not utilized.

    In the case of delays, the clients must pay for accommodation and additional costs not mentioned in the itinerary.

    The operator shall not be liable to refund any bank charges deducted while making the bank transaction.
