This trip presents a great opportunity to learn about the local spices and to observe the process behind its cultivation. This is an ideal for nature enthusiasts and cycling newbies with a moderate amount of experience.

    IMPORTANT: This is a private trip and requires a minimum of 2 pax for booking confirmation. The costs for this trip includes a packed lunch.


    Located high in the cardamom hills, Periyar National Park is a haven for nature lovers. With a rich bio-diversity and over 925 square kilometres, this is a is a protected area and houses many species of endemic and endangered flora and fauna, and is one of 48 tiger reserves in India.

  • Cycle your way through the cardamom hills

    Participants need to reach the start point in Periyar. They begin cycling after a short brief from the supplier regarding the cycles and the route. Participants cycle through thick evergreen forests, cardamom estates and spice gardens that have brought these cardamom hills world-wide fame. With its rich flora and fauna including moist deciduous forests and southern hilltop tropical evergreen forests, the route is truly blissful.

  • Cancellation policy

    Cancellations will be subject to cancellation charges.

    Cancellations have to be intimated to the supplier in writing.

    Cancellations made from 7 days to day of departure will be charged 100% of the tour expenses.

    There will be a 15% cancellation charge for cancellations before 7 days of departure.

    Cancellation by the supplier adventures In the unforeseen eventualities of disaster, war, riots, political or industrial unrest like airline operators strike or any other force majeure (forces outside our control): it may be necessary to cancel the tour in the best interests of our clients. In such an eventuality our clients will be informed as soon as possible. The expenses borne by the clients will be refunded in full. The supplier will also provide clients with an alternate set of tour dates.

    The supplier will not refund the booking amount for entry refused due to visa or health factors, such cancellations will be guided by the cancellation policy.

    Rules on trip

    The trip leader's decision is final.

    Participants have to respect the local culture and should not litter or deface natural structures/monuments.
