    Discover the beauty of 'God's Own Country' - Kerala, as you cycle through some of the most breathtaking tea growing regions of the world. This trip presents participants with the opportunity to observe the process of manual tea plucking, and experience the daily life of the rural people. With mesmerising views all around, this is a moderately challenging ride, that is ideal for cyclists with a moderate amount of experience.

    IMPORTANT: This is a private trip and requires a minimum of 2 pax for booking confirmation. The cost for this trip includes lunch.

    Destination

    Situated 5300 feet above sea level, Munnar is a relatively undisturbed hill station in Kerala. Munnar got its name due to its location. Meaning 'three rivers' it is located at the confluence of the Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. Peppered with numerous tea plantations and quaint little towns, this makes for a postcard-worthy trip.

  • Cycle through winding roads in Munnar

    Participants need to make their way to Munnar (on their own).

    Participants are then met by the tour leader at the KDHP office, and are briefed regarding the basic cycle mechanics and the route.

    Participants cycle among the hills, and through narrow winding estate roads, tea gardens and forest patches and through the Lockhart gap overlooking the spectacular Bison valley below.

  • Cancellation policy

    Cancellations will be subject to cancellation charges.

    Cancellations have to be intimated to the supplier in writing.

    Cancellations made from 7 days to day of departure will be charged 100% of the tour expenses.

    There will be a 15% cancellation charge for cancellations before 7 days of departure.

    Cancellation by the supplier adventures In the unforeseen eventualities of disaster, war, riots, political or industrial unrest like airline operators strike or any other force majeure (forces outside our control): it may be necessary to cancel the tour in the best interests of our clients. In such an eventuality our clients will be informed as soon as possible. The expenses borne by the clients will be refunded in full. The supplier will also provide clients with an alternate set of tour dates.

    The supplier will not refund the booking amount for entry refused due to visa or health factors, such cancellations will be guided by the cancellation policy.

    Rules on trip

    The trip leader's decision is final.

    Participants have to respect the local culture and should not litter or deface natural structures/monuments.
