Destination

The Devkund Waterfall, hidden away in the corners of the Sahyadri, cascades down the mountain cliff with an roaring force with the rain-fed river water. At the bottom, the waterfall makes for a turquoise-blue pond of water where you can take a dip and refresh after a thrilling trek. Located close to the Bhira Dam, in the jungles of Andharban, near Tamhini Ghat, the waterfall is a popular weekend trekking destination for nature lovers and trekking enthusiasts.

Arrive at the Pritam Hotel in Dadar by 23:00 hrs and meet your fellow trekkers. Board a bus and settle in for a 5-hr drive to the base village of the trek to Devkund.

Your trek to Devkund Waterfall begins as you arrive at Dadar by 23:00 hrs. Travel to the base village of Bhira will be arranged in a private, shared bus. No meals are included in today's package, so make sure to have dinner before reporting to the pick-up point. Since you're trekking to a waterfall, you may want to carry an extra set of dry clothes.

Arrive at the Bhira village and rest in your vehicle for a while. At the break of dawn, you'll begin trekking to Devkund Waterfall. Arrive at the waterfall after a 2-hr trek and spend some time on the banks of the pond at the bottom of the waterfall. Retrace your steps back to Bhira, and board the bus back to Mumbai. Subject to traffic conditions, you'll arrive at Dadar by 21:00 hrs. Your trip ends here.

Your trip ends by nightfall.

Today's meal package includes breakfast, served at Bhira before beginning the trek to Devkund, and lunch, served at Bhira after completing the trek to Devkund. Your trip ends as you arrive back at Dadar by 23:00 hrs, subject to traffic conditions.

For cancellations made on or less than 3 days prior to departure of the Devkund Waterfall trek: No refund.

All refunds will be processed after deducting any transaction charges.

Rules on trip

Travellers are required to adhere to instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Devkund Waterfall.

Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trek to Devkund Waterfall.

Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

Travellers are requested to arrive at the pick-up point near Pritam Hotel at 23:00 hrs. Tardiness is arriving at the pick-up point will lead to missing the trek, without any refund.

The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of the trek to Devkund Waterfall to maximize the safety of travellers as well as staff.

Travellers will be required to bear any additional costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, road blocks etc.
