  • Trip introduction

Located deep within the forests of the Western Ghats, Devkund waterfall is an undiscovered paradise. The waterfall cascades down from an overhanging rock into a turquoise natural pool below. You'll trek through the rain-soaked wilderness, through layers of misty fog, and come upon this waterfall at the end of a short trail. The waterfall is an ideal place for photography, for swimming in the pool, or for exploring the area around.

    Destination

The Devkund waterfall is located inside the Tamhini Ghat region, and combines the best of the Western Ghat trek experience. Noted for its rich biodiversity, the area surrounding the waterfall has dense woods, tropical flora and fauna, and clear lakes and streams. The monsoon is the best time to go, because the waterfall is in full spate and the pool is full.
