Devkund Waterfall Trek

Devkund waterfall is one of the less discovered paradises in Maharashtra. The waterfall is located deep within the lush forest of the Western Ghats. To reach Devkund, you will be trekking through the jungle and hopping small stream and negotiating rocks along the way. At Devkund, you can enjoy bathing in the natural emerald coloured pond and click amazing pictures with the setting of the 80 feet high waterfall.

The trek to Devkund is an easy adventure that can be explored by first-timers as well.

Devkund waterfall is located near Bhira village in Tamhini Ghat region of Maharashtra. The 80 feet tall waterfall is said to be the origin of Kundalika River. The waterfall cascades down to the natural pool which has become a popular destination among people to swim inside this pool and takes pictures underneath this tall waterfall. October to mid-November would be the best time to experience Devkund waterfalls if you're looking for pictures with incredible landscape.

You will reach Bhira village by 05:00 hours. Have breakfast and freshen up in the village, and get ready for the trek. Begin trekking towards Devkund Waterfall. For 2 hours, you will be walking through thick jungle and alongside Kundalika river to reach Devkund. Explore this magnificent waterfall and spend some time here. After lunch, start retracing your steps to Bhira village. You will depart from the village by 16:00 hours. You are expected to arrive at Dadar by 21:00 hours. The trip ends here.

For cancellations made 7 days or more before departure of the Devkund Waterfall trek: 85% refund.

For cancellations made less than 7 days before departure of the Devkund Waterfall trek: No refund.

No show: No refund.

All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

Rules on trip

Travellers are required to adhere to the instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Devkund Waterfall.

Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

Consumption of liquor, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trek to Devkund Waterfall.

Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

Travellers are requested to arrive at pick-up locations on time. Tardiness in reaching the pick-up point will lead to missing the trek.

The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap, accident or loss of life during the trek to Devkund Waterfall.
