    The Dudhsagar Waterfall trek is a beautiful journey that takes you to one of India’s highest waterfalls. At 1015 feet high, this waterfall has four tiers with water cascading down with such force that it appears milky white. But the best part of this adventure is not just the spectacular sight of the water, but even the journey towards it. Surrounded by rich deciduous forests, you’ll encounter a plethora of trees and shrubs along the way. Once you reach, spend some time admiring the Dudhsagar Waterfall and even enjoy a dip in its cooling waters.


    Located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and the Mollen National Park, the Dudhsagar Waterfall lies on the border between Goa and Karnataka. Situated within the Western Ghats, the route leading up to the waterfall consists of rich natural beauty - from thick forest covers to mountains in the background, throughout this journey you’ll be exposed to some scenic delights.

  • Day 1 of the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek: Depart from Pune

    Report at the Pune Railway Station today by 15:45 hrs and board the 16:25 hrs Goa Express train. Overnight in train.

    The pick-up time for today's journey is at 15:45 hrs from the Pune Railway Station, from where you'll be transported to Kulem via non ac sleeper class train. No meals are provided during transit, so do eat something before you leave and pack some light food for the journey. You'll spend the night in a comfortable seat of the train. Carry a light shawl to keep yourself comfortable.

    For cancellations made immediately after booking the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek: 70% refund.

    For cancellations made 15-30 days before the departure of the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek: 40% refund.

    For cancellations made 7-15 days before the departure of the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek: 20% refund.

    For cancellations made 7 days or less before the departure of the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek: No refund.

    In case of no show: No refund.

    All cancellations/refunds on this trip will be processed after a deduction of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next and is applicable for all cancellations.

    Rules on trip

    Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek.

    Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs is not permitted during the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek.

    Littering or any damage to natural habitats is strictly forbidden during the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The pick-up point for the Dudhsagar trek is at the Pune Railway Station at 15:45 hrs, and the drop-off time is at 07:00 hrs at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) in Mumbai. Pune travellers have to catch the train from the Kulem Railway Station to reach Pune.

    Any additional expenses that occur due to unforseen circumstances during the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek have to be borne by the participant.

    The operator cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, accident or death that occurs during the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek.

    The operator maintains the right to cancel/deviate/change the itinerary for the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek without prior notice.
