    Trek to one of the highest waterfalls in India on this Dudhsagar waterfall trek which begins near Kulem. You'll get to witness the majestic waterfall gushing down the rock face as it sprays mist in all direction, and its stark contrast to the surrounding greenery. This exciting trek takes you through the heavily forested regions of Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary, and on the way to the waterfall you'll cross gushing streams and scramble over slippery stones - all the while being endowed by the gorgeous sights and sounds of nature.

    Dudhsagar Waterfall, named after its frothing white water which looks like milk, is a four-tiered waterfall and India's highest waterfalls. It cascades down a vertical rock face from a height of over 1000 feet. It is located within the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary, on Mandovi River, and it marks the border of Goa and Karnataka. The best time to visit the waterfall is during the monsoons when the waterfalls in full glory.

  • Day 1 of the Dudhsagar Waterfall Trek: Depart from Pune

    Today, you'll report to the pick up point where you'll board the bus that will take you to Kulem, the start point of the trek. Since it is an overnight bus ride, remember to have a light dinner and carry an extra blanket for the night. Overnight in transit bus.

    You'll board the bus from Pune at 20:00 hrs and begin your overnight journey to Kulem. No meals will be provided today.

    For cancellations made more than 12 hours before the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek: 70% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 12 hours before the Dudhsagar Waterfall trek: No refund.

    In case of no show: No refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trip.
