The Everest Base Camp trek is an adventure of a lifetime as it takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of Nepal. Stretched over 15 days, during this trip you’ll trek through rich forests of oak and rhododendron, passing through rivers and valleys and a whole bunch of tiny Pahari Villages. As your journey progresses, you’ll even get a chance to meet and interact with the native Sherpas and experience the rustic way of life.
The highlight of this adventure is climbing to the Kalapathar to catch panoramic views of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse. Besides this, throughout your journey, you’ll be exposed to the icy mountain peaks of Nuptse, Thamserku, Mahalangur and Pumori amongst many others.
Although not the easiest of mountain treks, this one offers you enrichment on a whole new level, from exposing you to the stark landscapes of the Himalayas, to even offering you an insight to its culture, this trek is a magical experience for anyone who dares to embark upon it.
For the Everest Base Camp trek, you’ll travel to the Himalayan mountains of Nepal. Within the mountains, your trek route will mainly take place within the Sagarmatha National Park – that is now declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you’ll travel through many forested regions you’ll witness many endangered species of plants and animals – some of which include the stealthy snow leopard, the Red Panda and the Himalayan Tahr.
You’ll begin from Kathmandu, from where you’ll first fly to Lukla, before starting your spectacular journey. Over the next 7 days your journey will encompass travelling to Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorakshep before embarking on your return journey.
For the majority of this trek you’ll be staying in lodges, and while in some places you might have access to private bathrooms and hot shower facilities, it is guaranteed throughout the trek.

You'll arrive in Kathmandu today and from the airport the representative will take you straight to the hotel where you can rest and relax. If you need to buy anything you can visit the Kathmandu market. By night return to your hotel room for an early night in.

Depending on your flight time, you'll arrive in Kathmandu today. From the airport a representative will come to collect you and drop you to the hotel, where you'll spend the night in a twin sharing room. No lunch or dinner is provided today, so do pick up something when you visit the market. Please do carry adequate money in local currency for tips, additional meals or extra expenses that may arise during this trip.

For cancellations made between 6 to 4 days prior to the departure date of the Everest Base camp trek: No refund, but you can choose to go on another trek at a later date.
