Reaching as high as 14,000 feet, but suitable for fit first-timers, this five-day Hampta Pass trek itinerary takes you on a picturesque adventure. You'll start in the lush environs of Manali, and trek through pine forests and into the more stark landscape of Spiti. The third day involves a rather demanding climb up the Hampta Pass, which will be well worth it when you see the breathtaking views.
Beginning right from the base camp at Manali, you are in for a picturesque adventure. As you trek, you will lush pine forests, sprawling green meadows with cattle grazing, and have views of spectacular peaks all around. There are streams to cross and tricky boulder-strewn landscapes to negotiate, but the Hampta Pass trek is one that offers more rewards than challenges.

Do ensure that you reach the base camp in Manali before or by 10:00 hrs. You will board private vehicles to be transferred to Jobra. You will begin your trek at 9800 feet, at a relatively easy pace. Twenty minutes into your first day of trekking, you will see beautiful views of sparkling streams against lush green meadows. You'll trek through this fairytale setting to get to Chikha, where you'll be camping for the night. Overnight in tents.

Your first night of camping for the Hampta trek is at Chikha. The campsite is a large meadow with a river running by. You'll be provided with tents on triple/quadruple sharing basis, as well as sleeping bags and sleeping mats. For your convenience, you'll have access to common dry pit toilet tents. Today's package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If cancelled 30 days or more before the departure of the Hampta Pass trek, 70% of the trek fees is refunded.
Cancellations made between 15-30 days before the departure of the Hampta Pass trek, 50% of the trek fees is refunded.
Cancellations made 0-15 days before the departure of the Hampta Pass trek: No refund.
No refund for late arrival or no show.
If travellers arrive late for Hampta Pass trek departure, they will miss the trek and will not receive a refund.
You have to be above 16 years of age to participate in the expedition.
Drinking is strictly prohibited while on the Hampta Pass trek. In case of misconduct, the supplier reserves the right to discontinue the trip.
Participants are requested to carry valid photo ID proof.
Only those with valid and confirmed bookings are allowed to stay at the campsite.
The departure timings for the Hampta Pass trek are sacrosanct. The team will depart at the appointed time, regardless of late arrivals. There is no refund for those who miss the trek due to late arrival.
No pickup or drops will be done en route.
