The Hampta Pass is a high altitude corridor between Lahaul valley and Kullu valley in Himachal Pradesh. Thanks to this location, you'll get to see the best of both worlds - the lush greenery of Kullu, and the moraines and rugged landscape of Spiti. The pass is at an elevation of 14,009 feet, so you'll be seeing spectacular views of the Dhauladhar range as you go. Apart from Hampta Pass, one of the biggest highlights of the trek is the blue, blue Chandratal Lake.

Arrive at the Manali bus stand by 10:30 hrs, and from here you'll be driven to Jobri Nala, where your campsite is set up. This first campsite is at an elevation of 9186 feet, so you'll spend the day acclimatizing here. You'll do some short hikes around the campsite, walking to Marhi and Bhujdar, or indulging in some fun activities at the campsite. In the evening, there's a campfire with soup and snacks, followed by dinner. Overnight at Jobri Nala in tents.

Today you'll be picked up from Manali and driven to Jobri Nala in private shared vehicles. Lunch is served at the campsite, and you'll spend the day at the camp to acclimatize. In the evening, you'll be served snacks and hot soup around the campfire, and dinner afterwards. You'll be sleeping in twin-sharing alpine tents that are equipped with camping mattresses, sleeping bags and fleece liners. Your campsite also has toilet tents, separate for male and female travellers.
