• Snow Trek to Har ki Dun

    The Har Ki Dun trail is one of the most gorgeous treks in the region. It winds upwards gently, taking you through dense pine forests, with greenery all around and distant mountain peaks that glitter in the snow.

    During the winter, snow covers the landscape around, creating an icy paradise. This trek leads upwards and has challenging steep gradients in some sections, but is suitable for beginners as well as experienced trekkers looking for a snow trek.


    Located at 11,600 feet, at the base of Fateh Parvat, Har ki dun is a paradise for bird-watchers and nature lovers alike. There are spectacular views all around, and you’ll be able to see the peaks of Swargarohini and Bandar Poonch while you trek. From Jaundhar Glacier, you'll be as well as Jaundhar Glacier while you trek. The trek also offers a glimpse of the simple Garhwali lifestyle.

  • Day 1: Arrive at Sankri

    Make sure you leave Dehradun in time to arrive in Sankri by about 17:00 hrs. Sankri is about 185 kms away from Dehradun and should take about 7-9 hours to reach. Accommodation for the night will be at a guesthouse.

    Tonight you'll sleep in a cosy, clean guesthouse at Sankri. Do make sure your phones, camera and spare battery packs are charged tonight, because you will be away from civilization for the next few days.

    The cancellation charges are as follows:

    Cancellations made 30 days or more before departure date of the Har ki Dun trek: 95% of the trip cost will be refunded.

    Cancellations made 15-30 days before the departure date of the Har ki Dun trek: 50% of the trip cost will be refunded.

    Cancellations made 0-15 days before the departure of the Har ki Dun trek: No refund.

    No show: No refund.

    Rules on trip

    The company follows a zero footprint policy, which includes no overcrowding, proper management and disposal of waste, no harm to the surroundings etc. Participants are expected to follow the same.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    All the arrangements for the tour are pre-planned and prepaid. In case of non completion of the tour due to any reason whatsoever there will be no refund for any unutilized services. Any extra expense due to any alteration has to be paid extra.

    Bikat Adventures reserves the right to change the plan in case there is danger involved for the group or whenever the trek leader deems it necessary. The trek leaders have the final call on all decisions.
