The trek from Hari ki Dun trek is not a difficult one, and is suitable for fit beginners and for experienced trekkers. While it isn't technical in nature, there are some days of long trekking hours, so you should be prepared for that. The Har ki Dun trek leads you through some of the most gorgeous scenery, and some of the most isolated villages of India.
The trail takes you over a ridge in a gradual ascent, offering you spectacular views that grow wider as you trek upwards. You'll camp in the Har ki Dun valley, and also get a full day to explore the best parts of this beautiful landscape.
The valley of Har Ki Dun Valley lies in the midst of a beautiful section of Garhwal, and lies under the snow for six months of the year. When the snow melts and the sun comes out, the valley bursts into glorious bloom. There are meadows filled with sweet grass, wildflowers along your trail, distant snow-capped peaks, rivulets flowing by under your feet while you trek, and a serene silence, except for the sound of birds chirping.

You'll be picked up at Dehradun Railway station at 06:30, and will be driven to Sankri. It's a long drive of about 9-10 hours, but will take you via Mussoorie. Sit back and enjoy the views. You'll reach Sankri late in the evening and will camp there for the night. Overnight in tents.

For your first night of camping, you'll be in Sankri. This is the gateway to the Har ki Dun valley, and you're likely to meet many other trekkers here. Your operator provides you with a hot dinner, tents on twin/triple sharing basis, sleeping bags and mattresses.

For cancellations made 0-10 days before the departure of the Har ki Dun trek: No refund, but you can transfer the same to a friend.
For cancellations made 10-15 days before the departure of the Har ki Dun trek: 50% of the amount will be refunded, or you can move to another batch for the same trek, same season.
For cancellations made 15-30 days before the departure of the Har ki Dun trek: 75% of the amount will be refunded, or you can choose another trek or other batches for the same trek, same season.
For cancellations made 30 days or more before the departure of the Har ki Dun trek: 90% of the amount will be refunded, or you can transfer the trek to a family member, or get a voucher for the same amount, to be used in the same year.
Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Har ki Dun trek.
Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs during the Har ki Dun trek is not permitted.
