You can reach Dehradun by flight or road. Dehradun is also connected by rail to Delhi, Mussoorie, Mumbai, Varanasi, Lucknow, and Kolkata.
The Har ki Dun trek is a great adventure for first-timers and novice trekkers, as it is one of the easier treks in this region. Har ki Dun, which means Valley of the Gods, takes you through gorgeous meadows, through pine forests, and along the banks of sparkling rivers. At night, you'll camp in open meadows with mountain views, and you'll fall asleep in warm sleeping bags in your tent, listening to the sounds of nature outside.
The Har ki Dun trek lies in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, where nature is untouched, and the flora and fauna of the region thrive. Along the trail, you'll catch views of the snow-capped peaks of Banderpoonch and Swargarohini, etc. From the first day, you'll start to catch glimpses of the mountains, and each day brings you closer.
