This is another small paragraph.

  • Trip introduction

If you are looking for a challenging trek close to Mumbai, then the Harihar Fort trek may be the one for you. This intense trek begins in the lush greenery and the second half of the trail consists of an almost 80 degree incline with steep rock-cut stairs and rocky terrain. Along with gravity, you'll also be battling strong winds on your trek. And at the top, you'll get to explore the old ruins and the lush plateau of the fort which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

NOTE: This is a difficult trek consisting of steep inclines and vertical drops that flank some part of the trail, hence, this trek is only suitable for experienced trekkers.

    Destination

The historic Harihar Fort sits at an altitude of 3,676 feet within the Trimbakeshwar mountain range, in the Igatpuri region of the Western Ghats. Built on the triangular prism of rock, this fort offers some gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape.
