    Indrahar Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass at an altitude of 14,245 feet in Himachal's Dhauladhar range of mountains. It connects the two neighbouring districts of Chamba and Kangra. The trek to reach the mountain pass is quite an awe-inspiring adventure as it showcases a wide variety of landscapes from grassy mountain ridges to snow-covered trails, from ancient caves to pristine white glaciers. From the pass, you'll be able to some of the most dramatic views of mountains in the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. The Inrahar Pass trek is rightfully a celebrated adventure in the Indian trekking community.

  • Day 1 of the Indrahar Pass trek: McLeod Ganj to Triund

    Report to the Main Square in McLeod Ganj by 9:00 hrs and begin your trek to today's destination of Triund. It is a well-marked trail through the grassy ridges, offering your first glimpse of the Kangra valley and the Dhauladhar mountains. The trek offers you a chance to meet the locals and visit the Galu Devi temple, serving as a good warm up trek before you embark on the steep inclines of the Indrahar Pass.     You will report to the Main Square at McLeod Ganj, from where you will begin your trek. On the way to Triund hilltop, packed lunch will be provided to you. Once you reach the Triund campsite, dinner will be served as well. You will spend the night at the Triund campsite where you will get sleeping bags and mattresses in your tents.

    For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to departure of the Indrahar Pass trek: 90% refund.

    For cancellations made 21-30 days prior to departure of the Indrahar Pass trek: 60% refund.

    For cancellations made 11-20 days prior to departure of the Indrahar Pass trek: 30% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 10 days prior to departure of the Indrahar Pass trek: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to follow all instructions of the trek leader during the Indrahar Pass trek.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Travellers requested to stick together and walk with the group and not wander off from the group on their own.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs and tobacco products like cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the Indrahar Pass trek.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The tour operator reserves the right to alter or cancel the itinerary of the Indrahar Pass trek to maximize the safety of the travellers and staff. Any costs arising due to such a change in the itinerary are borne by the traveller.

    The tour operator takes utmost care to ensure safety of the travellers and shall not be held responsible for any mishap or accident during the Indrahar Pass trek.

    You'll be required to sign a medical and disclaimer certificate before beginning the trek.

    For rescheduling your departure date after booking the trek, a fee of 30% of the total trip cost will be applicable. You'll not be allowed to reschedule the trek if your departure date is less than 10 days away.
