Indrahar Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass at an altitude of 14,245 feet in Himachal's Dhauladhar range of mountains. It connects the two neighbouring districts of Chamba and Kangra. The trek to reach the mountain pass is quite an awe-inspiring adventure as it showcases a wide variety of landscapes from grassy mountain ridges to snow-covered trails, from ancient caves to pristine white glaciers. From the pass, you'll be able to some of the most dramatic views of mountains in the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. Report to the Main Square in McLeod Ganj by 9:00 hrs and begin your trek to today's destination of Triund. It is a well-marked trail through the grassy ridges, offering your first glimpse of the Kangra valley and the Dhauladhar mountains. The trek offers you a chance to meet the locals and visit the Galu Devi temple, serving as a good warm up trek before you embark on the steep inclines of the Indrahar Pass. You will report to the Main Square at McLeod Ganj, from where you will begin your trek. On the way to Triund hilltop, packed lunch will be provided to you. Once you reach the Triund campsite, dinner will be served as well. You will spend the night at the Triund campsite where you will get sleeping bags and mattresses in your tents.
