This night trek to Kalsubai combines two spectacular adventures: the challenge of the highest peak in Maharashtra, and a thrilling night trek to the top. You'll trek throuh lush greenery, with the sounds of nocturnal birds and animals all around. You'll negotiate steep slopes, rocky patches, and iron ladders that rattle as you climb. And finally, you'll get to the top just as the first rays of the sun light up the landscape around you. It's the ultimate dose of adrenaline for the weekend.
Standing at an astounding height of 5400 feet, the Kalsubai peak is often referred to as the ‘Everest of Maharashtra.’ It is found within the Wester Ghats, nestled in the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary. From the top, you'll get sprawling views of the surrounding forts and mountains; namely the Padhargad, Ghanchakkar and Harishchandragad forts.
