    Destination

It is located in an offshoot range of Sahyadri: the Kalsubai Mountain Range, aptly named after the peak itself. The trail leading up the fort consists of steep rocky patches and slippery patchs, and vertical slopes that require you to climb iron ladders that have been placed there in recent years. The best time to visit the peak is in monsoons when the surrounding landscape is flourishing with greenery stretching all the way to the horizon, with massive clouds caught up between distant peaks.
