On this exciting trek to the Kalsubai Peak, you'll get to conquer the highest peak in Maharashtra. You'll trek to the top in darkness, listening to the nocturnal animals and birds. And in the morning, you'll experience the lush greenery of the Western Ghat from 5400 feet above sea level. The route to the summit is a mix of easy to ascend slopes as well as treacherous rocky terrain overlooking the valley below.
The trek to the Kalsubai Peak is a challenging trek during monsoon as there are strong winds and the trail itself can be slippery. The trail is a mix of steep rocky patches and rocky terrain overlooking the valley below. But your efforts are rewarded once you reach the top with breathtaking views of the Western Ghats including several peaks like Alang, Malang, Kulang, Ratangad, Harishchandragad, etc.

Today, you'll be picked up from Pune and driven to the base village of the trek. You'll reach there by midnight, and you'll then begin your overnight trek to Kalsubai where you'll rest till morning.
Overnight in the transit bus.
You'll be picked up by 20:30 hrs from the pick-up point. Since no meals are provided today, remember to have a light dinner before boarding the bus.
