The trek to Karnala Fort goes through Karnala Bird Sanctuary, and is an easy trek suitable for beginners. On this trek, you get to walk through the dense forest of Karnala to reach the historic fort at the top and on the trail you'll spot some rare birds. The fort offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains including Prabalgad, Chanderi, and Manikagad forts.
Karnala Fort is an ancient hill fort located in the Karnala Bird Santuary, in Raigad district of Maharashtra. It is one of the prime locations for trekking around Mumbai due to its close proximity to the city, and it is famous for its bird population and its easy trail.

Today, you'll be picked up from the Sanjay Gandhi National Park gate at 06:00 hrs, from where you'll be taken to Karnala Bird Sanctuary. From there, you'll begin your trek to the Karnala Fort. It will take a couple of hours to reach there. After spending some time at the top, you'll trek back to the base and begin your return journey to Mumbai. You'll be dropped back in Borivali by 20:00 hrs.

You'll be picked up from Sanjay Gandhi National Park by 06:00 hrs. Today's meal package includes breakfast and lunch which will be served at the base of Karnala Fort. You'll be dropped back in Mumbai by 20:00 hrs.
