    Day Kayaking at Havelock Island

    Go kayaking over the calm waters of the morning Andaman Sea and begin your day with the perfect adventure. For two hours spent on the sea, you'll paddle your kayaks over the water and grab delightful views of Havelock Island and the vast Andaman Sea. A magical and relaxing experience, you'll be accompanied by an experienced guide who will walk you through the entire adventure. Before the trip, you'll have a short session to learn how to paddle and navigate the kayak. Setting out from the Havelock Jetty, you'll explore the stunning sea, having fun with your fellow kayakers and end the session back at Havelock Jetty.

    NOTE: A minimum of 2 travellers are required to book the Havelock Island day kayaking trip.

    Arrive at the B3 Restaurant near the Havelock Jetty. Here, you'll meet your tour guide and begin the activity. You'll suit up with life jackets and board the kayaks. After a brief session to learn how to navigate and paddle, you'll set out over the calm Andaman Sea for a day kayaking session. As the sun keeps rising over the horizon, you'll return to Havelock Jetty. Your trip ends here.

    Cancellation policy

    For cancellations made more than 72 hours before departure of the Havelock Island day kayaking trip: 90% refund.

    For cancellations made between 48-72 hours before departure of the Havelock Island day kayaking trip: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made between less than 48 hours before departure of the Havelock Island day kayaking trip: no refund.

    In case of no show: no refund.

    All refunds will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    The start time of the activity depends on weather and tide conditions. Please confirm the start time of the activity with the tour operator a day prior to your scheduled day kayaking session.

    Only travellers that weigh less than 80 kgs are eligible to book the day kayaking session in Havelock Island.

    Travellers are required to follow instructions of the tour guide while day kayaking at Havelock Island.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products like cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the activity.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    Please note that travellers will need to sit on the kayak for almost 2 hours. This may lead to some discomfort or unease.

    The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of day kayaking at Havelock Island to ensure maximum safety for travellers as well as staff.

    Travellers will be required to bear any additional costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, natural calamities etc.

      'i booked a basic kayaking course with them. the experience was wonderful. kayaking is an extreme water sport and it sure will give the adrenaline rush. u need to be really water friendly to do it!!! all arrangements done by the great next were great. highly recommended ๏ฟฝ'

      We recently did the night kayaking trip with Tanaz in Havelock and I have no words to describe the experience.. Happened to randomly click a link which led me to the Great Next and boy am I glad it did! I was always obsessed with watching bioluminscent plankton and had done lots of research on it before going to Maldives but people said it was too rare a phenomenon to be confirmed. However, here maybe thanks to the mangroves or Tanaz's love for the bioluminescence, we found them here in abundance.. I was so skeptical at first when they said you will most definitely see it coz I had heard such opposite feedback from other places in the past, but they are absolutely right.. We saw the bioluminescence throughout our kayaking trip and it was definitely one of our best experiences in life! Please trust the Great Next and Tanaz blindly in organising this trip for you and I assure you you will not be disappointed.. Tanaz only plans this trip during specific time periods to make sure everyone sees this magical phenomenon so be sure to trust her dates and just go with it!

      'Got to about TGN through Google, when I was looking for a professional tour operator to arrange a river rafting experience for a corporate group of ~100 pax, at Kolad. I got contacted by Mr. Venkat and his approach to handle the customer was way different than that of others with whom I was interacting at that point in time (Sept 2017). He seemed to be genuinely interested to provide the best experience rather than just doing the business and close the deal. He offered me couple of options ranging from mid-range to lux; and provided enough details that can be passed on to the group. He was prompt in handling & answering queries and one thing that really impressed me is the backup person he has arranged to answer queries, if he isn't available; even before the deal was closed. I chose him because of all these reasons... let me reiterate, I chose TGN because of the thorough pro Venkat has been with me. Besides lodging & boarding, I booked the rafts and guide, and the transportation from Pune to Kolad... so it was a package deal, and as any one can think, with a group of that size some changes are bound to happen - starting with transport ... he showed immense flexibility to split the transportation in just one day notice... which does got accolades from my team. Even at the rafting point, the group size changed from what we committed and just a phone call to him early morning was good enough for the rafting operator to arrange a brand new raft (which got unpacked and inflated right infront of us) to accommodate 8 members. Food and other arrangement at the resort: Food was pretty good... the resort provided piping hot chapatis, and food was lip smacking! Activities at the resort too was amazing despite heavy rains the resort arranged zip line for the group... One feedback: quality of buses could have been better. Overall a very satisfactory arrangement. Would recommend it anytime!!'

      I went with my cousins and it was last minute planning to kolad river rafting and we were trying to book rooms and package according to our budget and it was difficult for us to book since all the rooms were occupied since it was weekend and finally when I got through 'The Great Next' I got a good package with good food and place to stay @ Hans Adventure resort and Urja parmar and Chitra prabhu guided and helped me . Urja was very proactive and offered me good discount. We reached late due to climatic and road conditions and yet she held on the booking and was very understanding. @Urja Thanks a lot guys :-)We really enjoyed the trip :-)

      More than value for money. We visited Rock Hill Adventures and Resorts in Kolad. Everything was taken care for. Definitely recommend it to everyone. The tents and the facilities are totally kickass. You donโ€™t need to worry about anything
