Mangrove kayaking on Havelock Island

This kayaking trip is one of the secrets of Havelock Island. While scuba diving and snorkelling are popular adventures here, you'll find that kayaking through the mangroves gives you a whole different experience.

You'll set out in 1- or 2-person kayaks to explore the extensive mangrove ecosystem of Havelock Island, enjoying the peace and the chirping of birds. The trip takes about 2.5 hours to complete, and you'll be accompanied by an experienced guide who will take you through the maze and tell you all kinds of interesting facts about the mangroves.

IMPORTANT: For this trip, you are not required to know how to swim, and you don't need any prior training.

You'll have to report to Havelock Jetty at the time specified by the operator. After a quick briefing and introductions, you'll kit up, and take your kayak out. You'll spend about 2 and a half hours kayaking through the lush mangroves, stopping only for light refreshments like juice and biscuits. At the end of your session, you'll return to the jetty. Your trip ends here.
