Kayaking in Goa

Kayaking In Goa

You will have to travel miles within India to find a person who hasn’t heard of Goa. The smallest state in India is synonymous with an overwhelmingly beautiful outdoor life; however, not everyone may be aware of a great way to explore the waters with Kayaking in Goa.

As a tourist, you have plenty of culture and cuisine options to savor. As an adventurer, you are spoilt for choice, thanks to the extensive coastline, green forests, rocky cliffs, and raging rivers

There are snorkeling trips near quiet beaches where you can snorkel to your heart’s content. Cycling trips where you travel to the most scenic spots and discover hidden gems throughout the state of Goa. There are also kayaking trips where you traverse the sublime waters of Goa and see the coastline in a way you have never seen before.

Day Kayaking in Goa

Day kayaking takes place early in the morning when the waves are calm and the skies are clear. During the day, kayaking trips in Goa offer you a chance to admire the white sand beaches from the ocean. The music from the shacks and the laughter of people resonates in the air while you ride the waves.

Moonlight kayaking in Goa

Moonlight kayaking is in stark contrast to day kayaking and is an experience in itself. You head out after dark when the moon is making its slow ascent in the sky. Moonlight kayaking is done when the moon is full, allowing you to enjoy the best moonlit views.

As you kayak out into the sea, you are sure to be mesmerized by the moonlight spread across the Goan landscape. The beach is bathed in an alluring shade of white and the water in a distinct silver glow.

You'll be spending time on the water, drifting along with the waves while noticing the beach from a new angle. Away from the lights and music of the shacks on the shore, you can enjoy the calm and peace. The adventure usually ends at one of the shacks before you head home for the night. This is definitely one surreal experience that you do not want to miss out on.

Goa kayaking packages

Kayaking sessions can range from a minimum duration of 30 minutes to a maximum of 2 hours. Depending on the amount of time you spend offshore, the cost can range between INR 500 to INR 1000.

The experience is suitable for first-timers, families with children, or experienced adventurers. Goa kayaking packages usually take place at Baga, Bambolim, and Calangute, but there are more beaches where you can go kayaking now.

'I have availed the serices twice. The first was for the Valley of flowers/ Hemkund sahib trek and the next was the Kedarkantha trek. I have had a pleasant experience both times. I have found the package reasonable and the guide and facilities which they provide are top notch. The only concern I had on both the treks was that the itenerary was a bit too stretched and on both occassions we completed the trek in half the time and left early, but that might be because me and my friend have good stamina. So, cant blame TGN for that fully. All in all i would alys recommend TGN to others. Special mention to Venkat, who has been my point of contact at TGN on both occassions and I have been really impressed with him.'
