    Kedarkantha is a gorgeous ridge peak, easily accessible throughout the year. On the Kedarkantha trek, you are treated to the mesmerizing views of various Himalayan peaks like Swargarohini I, II and III, Black Peak, Gangotri and Yamunotri ranges, along with Har Ki Dun and Rupin valleys. The Kedarkantha trek is perfect for beginners as it has an easy grade and offers the perfect experience of trekking in the Himalayas.

    The Kedarkantha Peak is located in the Tons River Valley of the Himalayas of Uttarakhand. It sits at an altitude of 12,500 ft. above sea level, within the Govind National Park. The trek lets you explore the gorgeous flora and fauna of the national park as you trek through dense forests of pine and oak, along with showcasing a range of Himalayan peaks and valleys.

  • Day 1 of the Kedarkantha trek: Report to Sankri

    Arrive at Sankri and meet your trek leader. You can go for a short walk in Sankri, buy any last minute essentials, and then aim for an early night. Overnight in a guesthouse at Sankri.

    For cancellations made on or more than 24 days before departure of the Kedarkantha trek: 95% refund.

    For cancellations made between 14-23 days before departure of the Kedarkantha trek: 70% refund.

    For cancellations made between 8-13 days before departure of the Kedarkantha trek: 50% refund.

    For cancellations made less than 8 days before departure of the Kedarkantha trek: No refund.

    No show: No refund.

    All refund amounts will be processed after deducting a transaction fee of INR 200 per person. This fee is charged by The Great Next.

    Rules on trip

    Travellers are required to adhere to instructions of the trek leader during the trek to Kedarkantha.

    Consumption of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and cigarettes is strictly prohibited during the trip.

    Travellers are requested to treat the local culture with respect and avoid littering, defacing property and monuments and causing general disturbance.

    The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary of the trek to Kedarkantha to ensure maximum safety for travellers as well as staff.

    Travellers will be required bear any additional costs arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, road blocks etc.
