You'll be picked up from Dehraun and driven through Mussoorie to Sankri. This is a long (7 hours) but scenic drive along the Yamuna and Tons rivers. En route, you'll pass beautiful forests of pine and oak, giving you a feel of the mountains. In the picturesque Sankri village, you'll check in to your hotel, and spend the rest of the day walking about and resting for the Kedarkantha trek ahead. Overnight stay in hotel.
You'll spend the night in a clean, cosy hotel in Sankri. Make sure you charge all your batteries, camera and phone tonight, because you'll be camping for the next few nights.
