    This iconic trek takes you through the best of Himachal Pradesh in 5 days as you traverse through the Parvati valley, visiting Barshaini, Kheerganga, Tosh and Kasol en route. You'll pass through lush green forests, cross sparkling streams, bathe in natural hot springs, and camp under the stars. This Manali-Kheerganga trek starts with a night of camping close to Manali, in an idyllic campsite. This trek is easy, and can be done by beginners looking for a fun outdoor experience.

    Destination

    This is one of the more picturesque regions in Himachal and is suitable for an easy trek. Families and groups of friends will enjoy the many different sights and experiences that the Manali-Kheerganga itinerary provides. You'll be camping in comfortable tents, listening to the wind in the trees outside. During the day, you'll trek through pine-scented trails, crossing rickety wooden bridges over cold streams, eating lunch in the open, and discovering the many beautiful villages and views of Himachal Pradesh. In the evenings, you'll gather around a bonfire, enjoy the cold night air, and eat a hot dinner before retiring to bed.

  • Day 1 of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: Arrive in Manali

    Today you'll arrive at Patlikuhl bus stop early in the morning. This bus stop is about 14 kms short of Manali, so you'll have to inform the driver where you want to disembark. You'll be met by the operator and transferred to the campsite. You can choose to go sightseeing to Naggar and Manali if you like, or you can spend the day enjoying the pretty apple orchard and the river nearby. In the evening there's a briefing session, as well as a bonfire and dinner. Overnight in heritage home at campsite.

    Overnight at base camp

    You'll spend the night at the beautiful heritage village home in Soil village, near Manali. The home is in the middle of an apple orchard with a river nearby, and is a peaceful setting for your first night. If you need any last minute essentials, do head out to Manali to pick them up today.

    For cancellations made 0-15 days before departure of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: No refund.

    For cancellations made 15-30 days before departure of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: 50% of the amount will be refunded.

    For cancellations made 30 days or more before departure of the Manali-Kheerganga trek: 90% of the amount will be refunded.

    You can also opt to shift your date to a different departure, subject to availability.

    Rules on trip

    Please ensure you do not litter. You will be expected to carry back any plastic bags you use.

    Participants must adhere to the instructions of the trip leader/guide at all times during the Manali-Kheerganga trek.

    Consumption of alcoholic beverages/drugs is not permitted while on the Beaskund trek.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    The supplier reserves the right to change/cancel the itinerary for the Manali-Kheerganga trek without prior notice, if deemed necessary. No arguments or refunds will be entertained.

    Any event cost is exclusive of any kind of insurances or medical coverage/benefits.

    Any additional expenses which might occur due to delays, weather disruptions, medical evacuation etc. would need to be borne by the participants as per actual. All overstay due to delay beyond our control would be charged on pro-rata based as per tour cost for planned days.

    • Personal porter (can be arranged for INR 350 per day, per bag of 10 kgs)
    • Optional stay for one night after the trek in the operator's campsite near Manali. Costs INR 650 per person per night for tent stay on twin or triple sharing, bonfire, 3 meals, unlimited tea and coffee.
