  • Trip introduction

    Your kids will love all the action at our mountain and water sports camp at Wai. This is a 4-day camp where kids spend some quality time in the great outdoors, make new friends and learn some survival in the wild tricks and tips. Activities like raft-building, trekking and rappelling help in endurance training and build their confidence.

    This camp involves easy to moderate activities and all living arrangements are supervised by our well-trained, enthusiastic instructors.

    Destination

    The camp is located at the picturessque hill station of Panchgani (meaning five hills), nestled amidst the Sahyadris. As a part of the experience, children have an opportunity to engage in adventure activities like raft-building and river crossing. Staying in tents and being in such close-quarters with the natural environement also helps to foster an appreciation for the environment and pique their interest in nature.

    Fine print

    Rules on the trip

    Consumption of liquor, drugs, tobacco products, cigarettes etc. is strictly prohibited during the camp. The camp will be considered over only when we are back to our home town.

    There is a zero-tolerance policy for participants who litter, deface property or monuments, or cause general disturbance. Any flouting of these rules will be dealt with seriously, and may involve expulsion from the trek or camp, and no refund is admissible in such cases.

    Cancellation policy

    Tekdi Eco Services reserves all rights to modify/change the camp/program and to prepone (advance)/postpone the event and Tekdi Eco Services will not be liable to refund booking charges in such a case.

    Fees accepted as event charges only will be refunded.

    Transfer of booking will be permitted where feasible and will be at the discretion of the management.

    In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like natural calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc. ) of Tekdi Eco Services, no refund shall be payable.

    Refunds for cancellation: 90% refund if cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the departure date

    75% refund if cancellation is made more than 45 days and less than 60 days prior to the departure date

    50% refund if cancellation is made more than 30 days and less than 45 days prior to the departure date

    25% refund if cancellation is made more than 15 days and less than 30 days prior to the departure date of the event

    No refund will be made if cancellation is made within 15 days prior to the departure date

    Please note that cancellation charges are calculated of the total amount payable and not of the advance amount.

    Additional instructions, booking policies, terms and conditions

    During the camp, participants shall abide by the instructions and decisions of the Camp Director or authorized representative of Trek'Di, whose decisions shall be final and binding. In the event that the participant(s) disobey the directions/instructions of the Camp Director or authorized representative of Trek'Di, the participant(s) shall be solely liable for the risks, responsibilities and consequences.

    If medical problems arise during the camp the participant(s) must inform the organizers about the same, at the earliest. Medical treatment may be sought from the doctor/attendant available on the campsite or from the nearest available medical center or hospital. The expenses for all medical treatment and arrangements for the same will be solely borne by the participant. The Camp Director or the authorised representative shall have complete discretion to continue the camp without the participant(s) suffering from medical problem.

    In case of any injury, sickness, accident, death or any other casualty or loss or damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; Tekdi Eco Services Pvt. Ltd. (Trek'Di), its instructors, organisers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.

    If the participants have enrolled for the activities like wildlife camping, river rafting, rappelling, rock climbing, valley crossing, river crossing or any other adventure sports/activity, then all the risks and responsibilities related to and arising from such activities shall be solely upon such participants and Trek'Di (Tekdi Eco Services Pvt. Ltd.) shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever.

  • Day 1: Departure from Pune

    Depart from Pune for Panchgani in the morning.

    After arriving in Panchgani, campers travel to the campsite in Wai, where they enjoy a delicious lunch and then head out for a short trek to Kamalgad. They then return to the camp to enjoy a few games around the campfire, enjoy a sumptuous dinner and then retire for the night.

    Day 2: Team building and games

    Campers wake up to beautiful views and enjoy a delicious breakfast. They then participate in some team-building and adventure activities like flying fox and rapelling, and then break for lunch. The children are also taught a few survival in the wild lessons, including how to cook without gas. After some campfire games, they enjoy a wholesome dinner before retiring for the night.

    Day 3: Adventure activities

    After a delicious breakfast, campers engage in some raft-building and river-crossing activities. Later at night, they enjoy a wonderful dinner before unwinding under the star-spangled sky.

    Day 4: Departure for Pune

    Campers relish a tasty breakfast and participate in some games. After a hearty lunch, they depart for Pune.
